From November 2013 to Present (2-3 month periods) Tracy has been working in the Uriarte Talavera Factory in Puebla, Mexico as an artist in residence. She has designed (via digital paintings/collages)Frida Kahlo inspired Sculptures and Tableware (72 individual designs and over 120 individual ceramic pieces).  The first prototype of Fridaware is an authentic Talavera dinnerware set which tells the story of the Love and Joy in Frida Kahlo's life through the dishes in the set.  There are also exquisite serving dishes with quotes from Frida Kahlo and table sculptures of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera.  All images were designed by Tracy and painted by the Mexican painters in the factory.  Tracy is currently looking for a manufacturer to create a high fired, reasonably priced version of this line. Other products with the Fridaware designs are also being explored.  Stay tuned....
