Acrylic Paintings and Poetry
Tracy is also a published poet. She likes to create poetry in response to her paintings and paintings in response to her poetry. In the video below you will see a sample chap book of her work. Tracy accepts commissions for poetry paintings. She interviews prospective commissioners and creates poems and paintings specific to her energetic impression. Tracy's abstract acrylic paintings are created by dying the canvas or paper with liquefied acrylics and then painting layers of patterns building up an image which is then sprinkled with gold dust powder to create an iridescent and reflective effect. As the light on a painting changes from day to night the imagery shifts and transforms due to the reflective quality.
